Historic Grand Prix
The Monaco Historic Grand Prix that takes place every two years, is a grand event that commemorates the golden age of motor racing on the streets of Monte Carlo.
The race takes place on the very same track as the first race on 14th April 1929, and you will be brought back in time when some of the finest and most priceless cars fill the Formula 1 track and compete against each other in a full-on, glamourous and exciting weekend.

New for the race in 2012 is that the the practice session will begin on the afternoon of FRIDAY MAY 11th, 2012 instead as previously on Saturday mornings, making it three days of race watching to enjoy.
The cars will be divided into 7 races. On Friday 11th and Saturday May 12th 2012, each
group will take part in two official timed practice sessions of 20 minutes each. The races will takeplace on Sunday May 13th.

Thursday May 10th 2012: Driver’s Briefing
Friday May 11th 2012: Practice session (2.30pm – 6.30pm)
Saturday May 12th 2012: Practice session (8.30am – 7.00pm)
Sunday May 13th 2012: Races (9.am – 6.pm)
The 7th edition if the Historic Grand Prix in Monaco also see some changes to races and categories as follows:
The F3 race, 1000cc has been cancelled and the 1600cc is not admitted to run with the 2000cc (1974 up to 1984);
Race A will accept single seaters from 1947 up to 1951 included previously in race B;
Race B will include the F2, 1500cc, from 1957 up to 1960 previously in race E;
The F1, 3 liters, will be split in to two distinct categories from 1966 up to 1972 and from 1973 up to 1978.
